Security-first platform leader specializing in zero-to-one SaaS, regulated systems, and high-scale cloud architectures. 20+ years building and operating production systems across AI-assisted workflows, distributed infrastructure, and compliance-driven environments.

My relationship with technology started at age 7 when my family brought home a Commodore 128 — and I have been building ever since. That early spark grew into a career spanning nearly three decades, from early DevOps work at Walt Disney to founding and leading technology for companies at the intersection of AI, security, and regulated infrastructure.

I hold a B.S. in Information Technology and an A.S. in Information Technology and Sociology — a combination that shaped how I think about technology not just as engineering, but as a human and organizational problem to solve.

Currently

I am the CTO and Founder of Coverity.io, a security-first, AI-assisted notary and transaction management platform built for regulated real-estate and financial workflows. Built on C#/.NET, Azure Functions, SQL Server, and Azure Blob Storage, I architected and delivered a production MVP in under four months — covering scheduling, document handling, access control, and audit-ready storage. I also hold several patents pending on novel platform capabilities including geospatial dispatch modelling, AI-assisted document verification, and secure notary workflow systems.

In parallel, I serve as Fractional CTO and Founder of GeoStack, a geospatial data and mapping platform, where I provide architecture oversight, AI data strategy, and technical leadership to the founding team.

Career Highlights

For over a decade (2014–2025), I served as Director of IT Open Systems at DataDirect Networks (DDN), one of the world’s leading data storage companies. I led architecture and operations for enterprise-scale infrastructure, designed OpenStack-based cloud solutions and Lustre filesystem integrations across Azure, AWS, and GCP, and served as the senior technical authority for business continuity, disaster recovery, and distributed systems design.

Before DDN, I spent four years as Sr. Manager of Endpoint Compliance at Live Nation Entertainment, leading an 18-person team through a company-wide Windows XP to Windows 7 migration, designing SCCM-based compliance tooling and enforcing PCI compliance across the entire domestic fleet.

From 2005 to 2010, I co-founded and served as CTO of AuthentiClick, a web analytics company specializing in click-traffic fraud detection. I designed and implemented machine-learning-driven scoring systems for identifying invalid and malicious traffic, scaled an engineering organization to 28 people, and the company exited via merger/acquisition in 2010. I am the sole inventor of US Patent 10,567,255 B2 — Method and system for scoring quality of traffic to network sites.

Earlier in my career I held engineering and leadership roles at Tax Credit Company (an Experian subsidiary), World Link Media, FirstLook, and Walt Disney Co — where I built early DevOps-style deployment pipelines and introduced Scrum-based workflows long before those terms were mainstream.

Beyond Technology

I am a multilingual speaker of six languages: English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, and Greek. I am also a hobbyist embedded systems builder — projects include Lights-On! (a scalable wireless system for controlling lights, servos, and sound on dioramas), PowerUp! (a datacenter power solution with early Watchdog integration), and Aetheria (a home automation control solution for motorized window shades).

I also own two small businesses: Advanced Model Solutions, a model train hobby store with several novel products (see Products for more), and Braindonors Networks.
