I’m a technology executive, founder and hands-on architect with more than 25 years leading engineering organizations and building production systems across cloud, AI, distributed infrastructure and enterprise platforms.
Strategy without losing the engineering
I’ve spent my career moving between executive strategy and the systems underneath it: building engineering organizations, defining product roadmaps, modernizing enterprise infrastructure, and personally architecting complex platforms when the problem calls for it. I’ve led teams from startup through enterprise scale, including engineering organizations of up to 120 people, while working across venture-backed companies and Fortune 500 environments.
Founder, builder, operator
Today I’m Founder and CTO of Coverity, where I’m building a security-first transaction platform for regulated real-estate and financial workflows. I lead the company’s technology strategy, product architecture, engineering execution and security model while remaining the principal architect of the platform. The system combines .NET, Azure, SQL Server, asynchronous processing and AI-assisted document analysis in an API-first architecture designed for auditability and institutional integration.
Earlier, I co-founded AuthentiClick and served as CTO, building an early machine-learning platform for identifying invalid advertising traffic. I led technology strategy and a multidisciplinary engineering organization through the company’s acquisition, and my work resulted in U.S. Patent 10,567,255 B2 for traffic-quality scoring.
Enterprise-scale technology leadership
My enterprise work has included cloud and platform engineering, high-performance and distributed storage, infrastructure modernization, automation, security, business continuity and post-acquisition integration. I’ve designed and directed environments spanning Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenStack, Lustre and Ceph, and led major modernization programs while maintaining reliability and operational continuity.
