My career has moved through software engineering, infrastructure, enterprise modernization, cloud platforms, applied AI and company building. The titles changed; the recurring job was translating difficult technology into systems and organizations that could actually deliver.
2025 — PRESENT
Founder & CTO · Coverity
I founded Coverity to modernize the operational infrastructure behind notary, escrow and regulated real-estate transactions. I lead technology strategy, product direction, security architecture and engineering while serving as principal architect of the production platform.
Built on .NET, Azure and SQL Server, Coverity combines API-first integration, asynchronous processing and AI-assisted document workflows. I took the product from concept to production and established the engineering and security foundations needed for enterprise integrations and regulated workflows.
2014 — 2025
Director, Infrastructure & Platform Engineering · DDN
At DataDirect Networks I led architecture and engineering initiatives across public and private cloud, high-performance infrastructure, distributed storage, automation and post-acquisition integration. The work spanned Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenStack, Lustre and Ceph and required balancing modernization with the reliability expectations of mission-critical environments.
2011 — 2014
Senior Manager, Enterprise Modernization · Live Nation
I directed an 18-person engineering organization through one of the company’s largest enterprise endpoint modernization programs. That meant engineering the migration, automation and systems-management platform while coordinating security, compliance and business continuity across a nationwide organization.
2005 — 2010
Co-Founder & CTO · AuthentiClick
AuthentiClick was an early machine-learning company focused on advertising traffic quality and click fraud. I led technology strategy, product development, infrastructure and a multidisciplinary engineering organization, building high-volume ingestion and real-time scoring systems and guiding the technical side of the company through acquisition.
My work on traffic-quality detection resulted in U.S. Patent 10,567,255 B2.
