CHRISTINE ALIFRANGIS

Technology

Technology has been both my profession and my workshop for most of my life. I work across software, cloud infrastructure, AI, distributed systems and the physical hardware underneath them — usually because the interesting problems live between those boundaries.

I still build the systems

Executive leadership is most useful when it stays connected to engineering reality. My day-to-day technical work centers on C# and .NET, Azure, SQL, APIs, automation and AI-assisted workflows, backed by decades of experience with enterprise infrastructure, storage, networking and security.

The architecture diagram matters. So does knowing what happens when the service fails at 2:00 in the morning.

Software & platforms

Cloud-native SaaS, distributed systems, API design and production software built primarily around C#/.NET, SQL and Python.

Cloud & infrastructure

Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenStack, high-performance storage, automation, identity, networking and resilient enterprise operations.

AI & automation

Applied machine learning, document intelligence, workflow automation and practical AI systems where the model is only one part of the architecture.

The lab is part of the job

My home lab gives me room to test ideas before I recommend them, reproduce difficult failures, explore unfamiliar platforms and keep older systems alive long enough to understand what they got right. That ranges from modern virtualization and storage to embedded hardware and retro computing.
