Tomorrow, I will be heading off to Hamburg Germany, on a four day trip to amongst others, see the Miniatur Wünderland, a 20 million dollar, miniature model of Europe and America.

They’ve opened a new section called knuffingen Airport and I’m dying to see it.

Then, my Girlfriend and I will spend the next day shopping and touring hamburg before returning to Holland Via Köln (Colonge).

I’ll have my iPad and Camera, but not my laptop, since the area of Hamburg that we’re staying in ($75/night) hotels, is the seedy one.

Also, You might be interested to know that the Journey to Hamburg is a little over 5:40 on the ICE, while the conventional IC or Intercity is 4:41, why? they take different routes.

There’s also the EC (Euro City) which takes almost 9 hours to Hamburg, but is a direct train. and unlike the ICE, we don’t have to change trains on the way there or back, but it’s a sleeper train, and I am not interested in spending 9 hours in a train that I know can be done faster, even if we have to change trains with only 15 minutes to spare.

So, if you only see short bursts from me, it’s because I will not have 3G access during the trip (Vodaphone considers Germany another country) , and will only have limited access to the web at the hotel, (They claim it’s free, but I think there’s a catch, there always is)

So until next time, TA-TA!
