There is so much work to do, I would have thought better of people on this app than to agree with hate, or be terfs.

Trans healthcare is life saving for those who need it.

What trans and nonbinary individuals also know is what alienation and discrimination feel like, and how people suggesting it’s elective, or that it is unnecessary negatively impact the spaces we all occupy.

Being hateful or using hateful comments even if indirectly targeted at literally the most vulnerable group in the lgbtqia+ community is unacceptable, and morally reprehensible.

Project 2025 is a real threat to all women, not just those of trans experience.

Promoting and defending anti trans speech and ideology is harmful and not something I will tolerate at all.

So let’s turn this into a teachable moment.

Without access to healthcare and gender affirming treatment many trans individuals would not be here today.

Many of my peers, have suffered severe depression and anxiety due to the fear of rejection and shame that comphet and compcis society pushes every day.

Constant attacks by individuals who may be at best ill informed but at worst intentionally malicious do not help these situations.

Many people that I know personally, including myself have been assaulted physically and emotionally even by members of our own community because of the hateful rhetoric far right politicians use in order gain votes and support from those whose understanding of the world is limited.

We cannot in any sense tolerate abuse from within our community, and that abuse should itself be met with isolation and ostracism.

There is no excuse and no room for racism, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, classism and ableism in the LGBTQIA+ community.

We as a community must always fight for a discrimination free space, and world. To do less is to dishonor ourselves and our community, and those who fought so far to get us where we are today.

Shame that in 2024 I have to fight for this still, and every day. But I will, and I will continue to always fight for my community, until my last dying breath, I will fight for this with a fervor like Martha P Johnson. I will always fight.
