Ok ready to go!
But wait, Now I need to pack it all in, so how do I do that?
I need to be able to have easy access to all my stuff after unpacking. So order is important, chaos serves no one.
In the carry-on I’ll need some padding, socks and underwear can handle that, then I need to compartmentalize all of the accessories I’m taking.
But, how do you do that without adding significant weight to the carry-on.
Already I’m going to have a pretty full bag, and I need to lift it myself, no small feat with a bum shoulder; herein lies the dilemma: How can I organize without adding weight or causing chaos? In my experience, You can’t.
So, let’s set that aside for a minute and talk about the rest of the luggage: My regular checked bag weighs 37lbs, just shy of the 50lbs allowed by British Airways, that includes the 13lbs of the bag itself. 24 lbs of underwear and socks? I don’t think so, and I made sure my cat wasn’t in there before closing up the bag. how can a few t-shirts and some underwear be so heavy? I just don’t get it.
I’ll re-evaluate that tonight, I’ll report the results in the morning; With only 72 hours left before the flight, I’ve got my work cut out for me.
I’m off to pack, again see you around!
